PROCESS Training is specifically tailored to reflect an organization's internal workplace policies and processes, and takes into consideration staff's existing experience and the workplace context. |
WORKPLACE CULTURE AUDITS
Sometimes complaints are symptomatic of larger patterns or issues within the workplace. These can include toxic management styles, inequitable practices, or factors contributing to low employee morale. Conducting a workplace culture assessment is a particularly effective way for an organization to meet its legal obligation to take reasonable steps in ensuring that its workplace is psychologically safe. Workplace culture assessments also simply make good business sense -- because an organization will function only as well as its people do. PROCESS As a certified Canadian Mental Health Association Psychological Health and Safety Advisor, Maria has specialized training in conducting workplace culture assessments in accordance with the principles set out in the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. Maria works with an organization's leadership team to devise a framework for assessing the areas of concern, carries out her assessment in a way that minimizes disruption to the workplace, and provides audit findings that include practical recommendations for rebuilding employee and stakeholder trust and confidence. |
